Leave Good People Alone

There are some people walking this earth that you need to leave alone.

I’m talking about people like you and me.

The ones who mind their business.

The ones who don’t wake up looking for trouble.

The ones who aren’t trying to take from anybody.

We don’t ask people for much.

Just respect.

Reciprocation.

Love.

That’s it.

So if somebody has been good to you…

Leave them alone.

Don’t make up a reason to dislike them.

don’t lie on them.

Don’t recruit people against them.

Don’t spend your time trying to tear down someone who’s simply trying to build a better life.

Some people know exactly who you’re capable of becoming.

Don’t ever think they don’t.

They watched everything life threw at you.

The disappointments.

The betrayals.

The heartbreak.

The closed doors.

The moments you wanted to give up.

They watched every setback.

They also watched you get back up

Every.

Single.

Time.

Every negative word spoken over your life didn’t stick.

Every lie didn’t stick.

Every setback didn’t stop you.

Every time they thought, “This is finally going to break them…”

You got back up.

And that’s what bothered them.

Not because your life has been easy.

Not because you haven’t cried.

Not because you haven’t questioned yourself.

But because everything that was supposed to destroy you became another reason you kept going.

Some people are protected in ways you can’t explain.

No matter what gets thrown at them…

They keep moving.

They keep doing them.

That’s why I always tell people…

Leave good people alone.

Then life starts changing.

You buy a house.

Now they’ve got something to say.

You start a business.

Now they’re watching.

You write a book…

Now they feel threatened.

Because stories have a way of holding up a mirror.

The story isn’t attacking them.

They’re reacting to what they see in themselves.

Instead of asking why the story made them uncomfortable…

They question your intentions.

They question your character.

They question your work.

Because it’s easier to criticize the person holding the pen than to sit with the story brought to the surface.

But here’s the thing…

You can’t control what people choose to see when they read your words.

The people who were looking for a reason to be offended usually already has one before they opened the first page.

So don’t stop writing.

Don’t stop living in your purpose.

Keep putting in the work.

The late nights.

The rewrites.

The editing.

The learning.

The mistakes.

The growth.

That’s the part people don’t see.

They don’t see everything it took to get there.

Real work has a voice.

Real consistence has a voice.

Real purpose has a voice.

You don’t have to announce it.

You don’t have to defend it.

Your work will speak long after the noise dies down.

So stop worrying about who’s watching.

Stop worrying about who’s waiting for you to fail.

Keep your hands clean.

Keep your peace.

Keep building the life you’ve prayed for.

Because while some people spend their time watching your every move…

You’ll be too busy creating the life they never thought you’d have.

I hope these words resonated with my people.

This is your safe place, and you’re always welcomed here.
